Types of Lift Chairs:

Lift chairs are typically recliners and they are categorized by positioning. We carry 2-position, 3-position and "infinite position" lift chairs. Our 2-position chair, the Capri, is our most affordable recliner, but it is suitable only for those who will spend limited amounts of time in their chair. If the person using the chair will be in it more than a few hours per day, a 3-position or infinite position chair will be much more comfortable. 3-position chairs, such as the Monarch, start at only $659.

One of the most exciting features unique to Golden Technogies is their Zero Gravity positioning system available on their Relaxer and Maxicomfort series chairs. This unique position was originally designed by NASA in order to mimic the weightless conditions of space. The benefits include:

This simple-to-use feature can help to eliminate unnecessary service calls, or in the event a service call is needed, speed the process of getting your chair fixed as quickly as possible. Many of the lift chairs we carry are available to be shipped within 3 business days of placing your order. These chairs include: The Capri, The Monarch (Medium and Large), The Regal, The Relaxer, The Comforter (Small, Medium and Large), The Comforter Extra Wide Medium and the MaxiComfort Series (Small, Medium and Large). Five warehouses around the country help to shorten delivery time. On all other chair models delivery typically takes 3 to 4 weeks. Please note that the addition of features such as heat and massage or special fabric options will lengthen the time necessary to deliver your chair, even if it is typically one of the quick-shipping models.

When your chair is ready to leave the warehouse it is placed in a custom-designed weatherproof bag and then hand packed into its box. Once it has shipped and we have received the tracking information we will contact you and give you the details. The shipping company will then contact you to arrange a convenient delivery date.

Standard shipping is free on all lift chairs from EveryDay Medical. Some circumstances may require an upgraded shipping option. For example:

1. Inside delivery - if you need your chair brought inside your home by the delivery personnel
2. Complete Setup - if you need your chair brought inside, unpacked and placed where you will be using it. Additionally, packing materials will be removed with this option
3. Complete Setup plus Removal of Old Chair - Same procedure as number two and removal of existing chair from your home. Note that the old chair will be removed to the curb. You must arrange for its disposal.

Golden Technologies offers the most extensive selection of fabrics of any lift chair manufacturer. When selecting fabrics, you have the following options:

• Standard Colors - Fabrics are available to ship quickly. They vary by chair model and include cloth and Brisa options.
• Luxury Brisa "leather" - 16 additional colors of Brisa fabric are available. (Scroll down to read more about Brisa)
• Your Own Fabric - This is as custom as you can get. Ship us the fabric of your choice for a chair guaranteed to match your decor. (If you select this option a representative will contact you regarding the cost and procedure)

Natural leather is very comfortable, but it is not well suited to lift chairs. Most people who own a lift chair spend much more time in it than they do in any other piece of furniture. Leather does not breathe and therefore can quickly become hot and uncomfortable, especially in a warm climate. In cold weather leather can harden and crack. Brisa is a synthetic leather fabric that combines the attractiveness, softness and comfort of leather with the benefits of a fabric. Brisa is designed to breathe, keeping you cooler, and it is resistant to cracking and splitting. Additionally, Brisa is stain resistant and easy to clean.
