EveryDay Medical is proud to announce that we have been accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program in the area of Home Medical Equipment.
In order to achieve accreditation from CHAP, EveryDay Medical was required to develop and implement a comprehensive set of policies and procedures that comply with CHAP's more than 650 standards related to all areas of the business. These standards address issues such as the quality of products and services, patient care requirements, operational resources, process improvement, staff education and financial stability.
The Community Health Accreditation Program, Inc. (CHAP) is an independent, non-profit accrediting body whose purposes are:
- To objectively validate the excellence of community health care practice through consistent measurement of the delivery of quality services.
- To motivate providers to achieve continuous improvement by adhering to standards of excellence.
- To assist the public in the selection of community health services and providers with demonstrated excellence.
- To lead by example through organizational excellence and quality performance.
CHAP has been granted full deeming authority by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
